We were greeted nicely by staff. Watched video. We came to see the black Smith. We had a wonderful time with Mike learning about the Erie canal and black Smith work.
Love yhe special events theu put on. Watched a baseball game played by mid 1800s rules and listened to a local band.
It's a pretty location for a nice walk/ jog/ bike ride.
Great experience and the only place in NY where you will see three dry docks! The staff is great and your can go on self guided or guided tours. If you want to host a party they have two event rooms you can rent out, and there are bathrooms on site. Definitely worth checking out!
Very clean, nice and informative. I learned they have bike rentals. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The blacksmith is very talented. Will definitely visit again.
